The unique – in all seasons – and diverse landscape of Lefkara village hosts Ample Places, a complex of two independent and autonomous rural houses for contemporary ecotourism, standing in perfect harmony within the serene beauty of Cyprus nature.

The two guesthouses, which perfectly combine the local traditional element with a more contemporary character, offer relaxation and tranquillity through their refined simplicity. The buildings were renovated according to standards of sustainable architecture, featuring spaces characterised by ample light, spaciousness, functionality, brightness, simplicity and comfort.

The rural houses were restored with ultimate respect to the architectural originality of Lefkara, as well as to the distinctive historic character of the region. The furnishing of the interior followed the same approach, using restored authentic Cypriot furniture, folk handicrafts and contemporary works of art.

«Polytimo»: A precious rural house
This spacious residence (175 m2) was created with the «renaissance» of an older 12th century building, which used to house the main residence, the stables, a stone olive press and an olive oil cellar. This rural house disposes of two double guestrooms, a commodious living room with a fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen, a separate dining room, a modern shower-room, a 45 m2 covered terrace, a stone built patio, as well as a separate garden with lush trees and aromatic plants of the local flora.

«Monadiko»: A unique rural house
This uniquely beautiful 122 m2 building used to accommodate the cooperative bank of the village, it was later transformed into a coffee shop and, finally, into a spacious open-plan residence. The living and dining rooms are merged in perfect harmony with the kitchen, while guests are accommodated at the traditional wooden loft of Monadiko, including one double and two single beds.

Private stone-built patio with garden
The large stone-built patio of the rural houses, with the characteristic arches of Lefkara village and the stone-built enclosures, offers full privacy for peaceful moments in the countryside. Within this exquisite setting with the white stones, the blossoming trees and the climbing plants, such as jasmine, walnut and pomegranate trees, one can enjoy moments of ultimate relaxation and serenity. The courtyards also dispose of a traditional woodburning oven, where guests can cook and enjoy a traditional lunch or dinner with friends.

Accommodation prices start from €24 per person and guests are welcomed with a complimentary bottle of local organic wine, traditional bread baked in woodburning oven, fresh milk and a basket of seasonal fruit and homemade sweets.
