Aphrodite Beach Hotel

I really like the restaurant that is located at the base level of the hotel. The view of the bay is amazing. I visited this restaurant with five other adult friends and 4 kids and we paid the following:

• Salad – 11.00€
• Beers – 3 x 3.50€ = 10.50€
• Appetizer – 4 x 2.75€ = 11.00€
• Fish – 12.00€
• Fish – 16.00€
• Soft Drinks – 2 x 2.00€ = 4.00€
• Cyprus Dish – 2 x 10.00€ = 20.00€
• Fish – 2 x 13.00€ = 26.00€
• Fish Kourkounes – 17.00€
• Fish – 12.00€
• Cyprus Coffee – 6 x 1.50€ = 9.00€
• Ice Cream – 3 x 3.00€ = 9.00€
• Ice Cream – 1.50€
• Ice Cream – 2.50€
• TOTAL = 161.50€

In general the food was excellent however I really argued that we shouldn't have paid for the coffees (out of courtesy it should have been complimentary) and indeed they remove it from the bill. Bottom line it's always important to ask for discounts in Cyprus. Furthermore, I found the beer to be expensive as well as the ice-cream. The black-eye beans (louvi) was excellent as well as the grilled sword fish! In general, I highly recommend this restaurant however it's important to check the bill at the end of the meal/supper.

Family owned hotel on one of the best beaches of Cyprus with very clean waters just before the Aphrodite Baths close to Akamas. Simplicity and ability to relax on a great location with an astonishing sea view is something that distinguishes and makes this place unique. Restaurant food is just ok and pricing fir accomodation is also ok for the money spent.
