Casa Luna Italian Restaurant

Casa luna, Paphos, Tala, Cyprus. We visited Casa Luna Italian Restaurant in Tala Village for our final evening in Cyprus. We have been regulars at this restaurant for 9 years, we have shared many a chats with the owners and staff. On this occasion at Casa Luna Tala we were bitterly disappointed - after a 20 minute wait we had to grab the waiters attentions to place our drinks order. We waited 55 minutes before being served our bread and starters. When the caprice salad arrived is was a bed of tomatoes with 4 thinly sliced bits of feta cheese, not mozzarella, for 7Euros this was outrageously poor value for money. When we approached the Owner with the query we were patronized in a way that was unprofessional and hurtful, he raised his voice at our group in the middle of a busy restaurant and refereed to me as "Madam this, Madam that". Clearly his superficial nature had forgotten the long chats we had shared in the past. The owner was aggressive, belittling, rude and arrogant. He threatened to physically hurt us and caused an unsettling scene. As a result of the horrible attitude we lost our appetites and Casa Luna Italian Restaurant Tala at all costs, the service is diabolical. The owner has no experience in dealing with customer requests and his boisterous attitude has his colleagues in tears with humiliation. We will NEVER visit Casa Luna again and I advise any visitors or regulars to avoid this shambles at all costs.
