Welcoming, good taste, variety
Although I have been living 9 years in Nicosia, I just discovered that shop a week ago. Ok, I am not a big shopper, but for a very good reason to me, I never end up my shopping sessions with enthousiasm. And when it comes to souvenirs, it becomes a nightmare.
In Craftbox, not only the owner offers a very warm welcome, rare enough to be mentionned, but you can't stop looking everywhere because things look so good.
It is all about traditional crafts of Cyprus, pottery, ceramics, basketry, lace and even cards are of an outstanding quality, taste and originality.
A definitlty must go with your friends visiting Cyprus, for souvenirs not coming from China, and can even be part of your own decoration, because it doesn't look like "souvenir" but just like good taste stuff.
I wish this shop to last at least another 18 years !
