ANNUAL BUSINESS WOMEN AWARDS – CYPRUS
The Business Women Awards in Cyprus are administrated by CAS – Cyprus Awards Schemes LS Business Consultants Ltd, founded and created by Janice Ruffle. It remains the responsibility of the CAS Committee to corporately market the award, process applications, appoint suitable Independent judging panels, patrons, sponsors and plan presentation ceremonies. The Awards attract Sponsors who are seeking prime networking within influential business communities in Cyprus. The Awards are actively marketed all year round, maximising on Sponsorship relations in an annual promotional marketing plan.
There are four annual distinguished Awards – February/May/August/November. The elected judges select a 1st prize winner and 2nd prize winner in each scheme. The expansion of the Annual Business Women Awards in Cyprus allows for female entrepreneurs to enter at least one prestigious Award every year.

The Cyprus Business Woman of the Year Award will be in its 6th successful year in 2012. The Award Presentation is staged in May each year. In May 2011, the Award Presentation was hosted at the British High Commission at the request of High Commissioner Mr. Matthew Kidd. 2012 Marketing and Entries are active. Entries are open to women in business and professionals of all cultures and nationalities operating within the Cypriot commerce regulations. Entries are accepted from November-April each year.
Each year, applications for The Russian Business Woman of the Year Award, The British Business Woman of the Year Award and The Cypriot Business Woman of the Year Award, are automatically entered into the Crème de la Crème Cyprus Business Woman of the Year Award.
THE RUSSIAN BUSINESS WOMAN OF THE YEAR AWARD
NOVEMBER – LAUNCHED 2011
The Russian (Cultured) Business Woman of the Year Award has been launched in 2011. The Award Presentation is staged in November each year. Entries are open to Russian origin women in business and professionals operating within the Cypriot commerce regulations. Entries are accepted are accepted from July-October each year.
Cyprus has close connections with Russia, thanks in part to a favourable tax arrangement that has made the island a base for international companies doing business with Russia.
