Cyprus Independent Business Network (CIBN) was created in May 2012 by Julia Constantinidou of Masterful Creations by M. Constantinides Furnishings Ltd and Paul Thomas of Buckingham Consultancy to provide a business development platform for Cyprus businesses.
CIBN is open to everyone who owns or works in a business in Cyprus and unlike many of the existing networking groups, there is no annual fee to pay, nor is there a minimum attendance requirement.
Most of the CIBN members are owners or directors of Small & Medium Enterprises (SMEs), usually family businesses. They have benefited from becoming members of CIBN and attending the meetings regularly, either from new business / clients, references and / or co operations. Once new members join CIBN, they like it & stay, so that during every meeting the attendants are a mixture of new and established members. In this way, there is always networking, which is the essence of CIBN's existence!
CIBN members meet on Friday mornings in Nicosia, Limassol & Larnaca (one Friday in each city).
The meetings in the various towns started as follows:
– Nicosia: May 2012
– Limassol: October 2012
– Larnaca: February 2013
We also arrange “Happy Hour” events in the afternoons for those who cannot attend the morning meetings.
