Mini Bus from airport to the car depot, can only carry a few families so expect to wait for one mini van to round trip,
Expect further long delays waiting in cue for getting your car as the cars are all pretty old and tired, many folk make several returns from inspecting their cars back into the office with additional notes.. (Be careful). Disrupting the cues causing more delays..

On returning the car, Even if they make an error in paper work which the did with us according to them, you the hirer will pay the cost, we rented a car for seven days, just under 100,000km on the clock, powerless for travelling around Cyprus, (rent a wreck in my opinion).
When we returned the car was asked to pay additional charges as they claim they made mistake on the initial rental, €84 euro rental ended up being €196. Which we believe was deducted initially, ended up paying an additional €105 when returned the car with no damage and a full tank of fuel. They know your catching a flight and put the pressure on you to pay, if not they will deduct off the deposit anyway, in my opinion a scam and should be avoided, poor representation of both Enterprise and Alamo rental companies.

This is the company which owns the franchise for Alamo and Enterprise rentals at Paphos airport Cyprus. II rented a car from Enterprise Paphos airport on 5/10/22. The car had numerous dents and scratches which I photographed + had 114,000Km on clock and was 10 yrs old.. After a couple of days the car developed several faults 1. The tyre pressure alarm came on. 2. the headlight glass was clouded as if it was sand blasted. Worst of all there was shuddering from brake pedal when braking. When I phoned the company expressing my concerns about the safety of the car I was told the car was safe to drive???. Later that day the car was replaced with another with only 100,000km on the clock and fewer dents and scratches and was 8 yrs old. It drove ok for the remainder of the rental period When the car was returned on 12/10/2022, I was informed that there was nothing wrong with the first car and the following reasons given.
1. The tyre pressure warning came on because of the high temperatures experienced in Cyprus( Are they serious!!).
2. The sun 'bleaches' the headlight glass(haha)
3. No explanation was given for the shuddering from brake pedal, which was likely an incorrectly fitted brake caliper.
The reason for having high milage cars is of course Covid.(Haha). They of course had no opportunity to replace their already old car pre covid.
4. I am still waiting for the 'block' to be removed from my credit card even though they told me it was removed when I returned the car.
In summary a company to avoid.

"Lakis Rent A Car" is my first choice every time, i have rented a car many times from them and have never had a bad experience. I always get a very nice and clean car at a Good Price. Would recommended this company to anyone.
