Little Buddha Nicosia brings a new dining and lounge experience to Cyprus, with an atmosphere unique unto itself with dimmed lighting and superb chill-out music.
The beautiful décor combines earthy red tones with flashy gold and turquoise accents, providing a magical environment for enjoying an exquisite meal or even just a delicious cocktail.
The restaurant is further adorned by the signature trademark of the Buddha Bar franchise: two monumental statues of the Buddha, back-to-back, overlooking the establishment's customers.

Great food, attentive staff
A very authentic (food-wise) Japanese restaurant. I found the food very good indeed although a 'little' expensive for what you got. The atmosphere is good (when it is busy), and a bit dull (although quite) when it is not........could perhaps benefit from a little Japanese music during these quite times.
If you are hungry, then either prepare to spend a lot or have something to eat before you go......however, you cannot fault the quality of both the food and the service.
Location, variety
Mediocre I am afraid, but I will note that this is after only once visit (were a group of 6)
Lighting is so dark in the restaurant at the back that we needed the candles to even see the menu items because the printing was so light and small.
The food was above average with a couple of dishes standing out - such as the chicken with orange. When we ordered, they brought 4 of the dishes, then one one and the final one - that caused 5 people to wait until the last was served.
Desserts were uninspiring - I expected more.
Over all, all 6 of use left feeling a little disappointed - what promised to be a fantastic menu was only above average.
My review
Great food, atmosphere and service. It almost feels like you're at a bar in a different city, dare I say NY?
Great for dinner or drinks with friends. They actually have a very good sushi bar and serve up some original dishes. The Little Buddha Roll is a must if you like spicy maki. Decent selection of wines (could be better).
The music is excellent of course.
New York City style atmosphere and energy.
If you want a New York City style experience, Little Buddha is the place to be. We enjoyed the family style dinner on December 30, 2010 and it was very enjoyable. The service staff did a good job. The family style dinner had a variety of foods for every palate (I dont like sushi). The DJ played an array an enchanting and mood-enhancing selections. If you are young or young at heart, you will enjoy the Little Buddha experience. [Reviewed by Roger of Cyprus]
My review
It's overall a cool place to visit. I like its décor and the ambiance in general. The worst thing about the outside patio is the backless seats.
Environment, Food
Little Buddha is an outpost of the very well-known Buddha Bar empire. It is split into 2 - a restaurant in the back and a bar in the front.
On the positive side, it has a nice ambiance and style, the DJing is improving, the crowds are starting to pick up, and the food (non-sushi which I have not tried) is a decent effort at Club-Pan-Asian.
On the negative side, however, the front area and how the tables are laid causes a lot of congestion and something is broken with ordering drinks from the tables -- the odds that your drink will come back in a timely manner or at all are probably 1 in 3 as soon as there is even a modicum of people around. Hopefully this can be fixed because this is a silly thing to be causing issues
UPDATED AFTER 6 MONTHS AND UPGRADED TO 5 STARS
(1) DJing now excellent and draws big crowds on Wed/Fri/Sat
(2) Food uniformly good across the board - Some dishes - Little Buddha roll, tuna pizza, orange chicken are spectacular
(3) Service is still a bit confused at times, but that seems to be a systems issue - all individual staff seems to mean quite well and are very friendly and inviting
Nice decor, lounge-style seating, music, food, drinks
Little Buddha is amazing.
It has great lounge atmosphere, with lots of couch, bar, and table seating for dinner or drinks. It has a nice deck for the warmer months. The staff is friendly, and if you get to know them, the service is quite good.
The food and sushi are VERY good for Cyprus standards, and possibly for NYC standards. Try everything on the menu - most items are quite well-executed. I would recommend the Little Buddha Roll for sushi, and the orange chicken and crab cakes as well. They also have a great cocktail menu, and when you are drinking, ask for the prawn chips which are a dangerously-addictive alternative to bar nuts.
The music is superb, true-to-Buddha Bar style.
