Oi Koumparoi

I was only in there restaurant for 5 minutes, but the people who run it were disorganised, rude, and indifferent enough to make me never want to go there ever again.

After a few friends recommended the place and also reading the Cyprus Mail review, I rang up the restaurant and made dinner reservations for 4 on a Saturday night. We arrived on time but the sitting host had no record of our reservation, and acted as if I was lying. I ended up showing him the outgoing call to their number on my phone to convince him.

After that he walked up to the person behind the register and asked if he had taken my call. As the person behind the register was pushing some buttons on his register (no idea if he was looking, or doing something else) the sitting host just walked off.

We stayed there standing in front of the register for a few minutes without anyone acknowledging us, until we asked if we should leave. There reply was simply “we are sorry.”

The place was busy but there were some empty tables, they could have made an effort to accommodate us after their mistake. I would even appreciate an offer from them to come back on another day, but there was nothing, they just didn't care.
