Otto Dieci Food Bar

This is one of the few good bars, probably THE ONLY good bar in the town of Paphos. It's located in a quiet alley in the shopping area in Paphos.

Until about 10pm the place is pretty much a restaurant offering decent food but then more people start arriving, the music starts getting louder and it turns into a nice, trendy bar.

The crowd is mostly twenty and thirty-somethings and usually of the non-dancing kind. Music is a mixture of Greek and foreign Pop and can occasionally be quite bad so be warned. The drinks are averagely priced for Paphos bars, i.e. a bit expensive.

The waiters are generally very friendly and helpful although on busy nights be prepared to wait for a while (15min minimum) for your drinks. The management can occasionally be a bit rude though, showing preference to their frequent patrons (tables, service, even chairs and stools) than to a "nobody". One night one of our friends was told to get up from his chair because supposedly one of the reserved tables was missing one. They were not. We afterwards asked the guys at the table and they told us they did not ask for an extra chair and so they gave it back.

That was a very poor decision on behalf of the manager that night, you just do not tell a patron who is already at a table with a drink in his hand with 5 others to get up and give the chair to someone else.

Anyway despite some problems i'm still giving the bar 4/5 because it really is a nice place to hang out and have a few cool drinks and basically the only place of its kind outside Kato Paphos.
