Paphiessa Hotel Apartments

I stayed at the Paphiessa Hotel while visiting Paphos for the Cyprus Marathon.

The location was idea for any vacationer looking to be within walking distance of the harbor, municipal beaches, and downtown. A short bus ride from a nearby bus stop (1.5 euros each way) will take you to Coral Bay beach.

The apartment itself was satisfactory. The facilities were clean, neat, and had a homey feel. The kitchenette was complete with dishes, pans, silverware, a hot plate, microwave, toaster, etc.. Everything you need to prepare your own meals (saving ridiculous amounts of money) while in Paphos, execpt for dish soap. Apparently "self catering" means provide your own dish soap as well (just a warning). There was a cute balcony off of our studio apartment with a small table and a few chairs. Had we spent more time in the hotel, I am sure we would have enjoyed more time on this balcony.

The hotel in general was nice and appealing. The front desk staff was cheery and helpful in giving directions and facilitaing the checking in/checking out process. There is a pool and kiddie pool along with a resturant and bar, but we didnt not use either of these facilities during our stay.

overall, a good hotel.
