Politia Cafe-Restaurant

I like this cafe, it's one of the few good cafes in the town of Paphos (i.e. not Kato Paphos), it's located in one of the old neighbourhoods of Paphos and it's a nice quiet area with great potential.

The cafe itself is nicely decorated and is in an old restored building with lots of character. They have tables outside and several rooms inside if the weather outside is not to your liking. They regularly host various events like live music nights, art displays and others. Sadly they allow smoking in certain rooms of the cafe which is an issue for a non-smoker like me.

The coffee there is of OK quality, nothing special. Food is quite nice and mostly tastes "home made" which is good. Prices are not particularly expensive although you wouldnt call them cheap either.

Overall it's a great cafe in a great location suitable for everyone, from families to tourists to locals.

edit: I just wanted to add that they've just revamped their food menu with new dishes and better quality for their existing dishes. They've also made a minor renovation to the interior and exterior.

Still is one of the best town cafes.

This is a great place to sit and have a lazy hour or 5 having a coffee, somethingt o eat and a chat.

They have a small selection of very tasty dishes along with drinks, coffees and teas.

They also have free WiFi.
