RealBackup™ is a robust backup system that can be configured to work silently on your computers or server. The software has been carefully engineered to provide users with an easy to use, secure, automated backup facility to ensure that any files you want to safeguard remain stored in a private and safe environment, well out of harm's way.
RealBackup™ backs up to major data centres – over 10 petabytes of storage (that's over 10,737,418,240 megabytes of data) with several levels of encryption for the ultimate in privacy. The software offers no restriction on file types, and secures the files during upload using 128/192/256 bit AES encryption in combination with SSH/SFTP technology.
In the unfortunate event that you experience a catastrophic failure, you can easily reclaim your files from the RealBackup™ online backup server. Because RealBackup™ uses 3 additional major data centres to mirror all backups, you never have to worry about the data you store, and you never have to worry about recovering it.
The RealBackup ™ software suite comes in two definitive versions: Personal and Business. The easy installation process and simple settings make using the software an absolute pleasure. In most cases, you only need to perform this process once. Then you can sit back and relax, knowing that your most precious data is completely safe and protected.
RealBackup™ can backup open (locked) files and it can perform full, differential, incremental and mirror backups. This means that the resulting backup can be stored either in standard zip format or without any compression at all. When defining a back-up job, RealBackup™ allows your to set source filters so that only specific files/folders will be backed-up. Once the back-up finishes, you can see what files have been changed since the last backup or read statistics about the next backup execution. Predefined backups, such as My Documents, My Pictures, Outlook™ Express™, Microsoft™ Outlook™, Mozilla™ Thunderbird or IE Favorites, make it easier to back-up specific applications or data. Additionally, other backup plugins can be freely installed from our extensive online library.
RealBackup™ creates standard zip files that provide access to your saved backup files with any zip compatible utility. Furthermore, with support for the ZIP64 format, you can back-up files larger than 2GB.
RealBackup™ keeps track of file versions: you can easily restore any version of files or an entire folder with ease. As with sources, the files/folders to be restored can be filtered too. The resulting backup files are automatically tested to ensure that there aren't any errors (uses CRC32).
RealBackup™ is easily installed to Windows™ 2000, 2003 Server, XP, Vista, Server 2008, Windows™ 7 and offers multi language support. Unix and Mac support will be available soon.
